Fort Fairfield High School has named a new varsity girls’ soccer coach.

Athletic administrator Tim Watt announced the hire of Jocelyn MacDonald last week. She served as a volunteer assistant for the girls’ varsity soccer team at Central Aroostook the past three seasons. She is a graduate of CAHS and replaces Tom Towle, who coached the Tigers the past three years before stepping down last fall.

The athletic director post was also filled at Limestone Community School. Eric McGough last week was named as the replacement for Ralph Fantasia, who took a similar position at Wisdom High School in St. Agatha.

McGough, who served as a teacher for RSU 39 the past four years, had coached the LCS/MSSM varsity baseball team in 2014 and 2015. McGough will also be the school’s assistant principal in addition to his AD duties.
