CARIBOU, Maine — 18-year-old Zachary Roman was struck by a black 2004 Dodge pickup while riding his bike down Record Street in Caribou last week. Officers responded to the August 17, 2016 accident at approximately 8:36 p.m. and identified the driver of the truck as 42-year-old Dale Haney.
Roman was later treated at Cary Medical Center.
As of August 22, the accident is under investigation by officers Tim Dubois and Aaron Marquis.
According to Caribou PD Administrative Assistant Laura Adams, no charges are being pressed at this point.
