Howard Wright

    American Flag Color CARIBOU — Howard Wright, 78 passed away peacefully October 5, 2016 at his Caribou residence following a brief battle with cancer.

     He was born in Jerry City, Ohio, September 2, 1938, the son of the late Dean and Mary Anna (Davis) Wright. Mr. Wright served with the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was a member of the Fort Defiance Post 3360 VFW in Ohio, as well as the Eagles Lodge #372. For over 36 years, Howard was employed as a maintenance technician for General Motors.  

     He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James and Janice Wright of Caribou, with whom Howard made his residence  the past nine years, and two daughters and a son-in- law, Cindy and Rick Upman of Rutledge, TN., and  Carol Fleming of White Pine, TN; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.  Mr. Wright was predeceased by his wife Martha. Private family services will be held at a later date in Ohio. 

     The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire team at Hospice of Aroostook for the fine care and support given to Howard and the family these past few months.
