Staci J. Landeen

     NEW SWEDEN — Staci J. Landeen, 51 passed away November 27, 2016 at Caribou following a long illness.

     She was born in Caribou, May 8, 1965, the daughter of the late Ed and Blanche (Walker) Whaley. She attended the Caribou Schools, was a member of the Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church, and she married Scott Landeen. Staci was a CNA and was employed at Caribou Rehab and Nursing as well as the Maine Veterans Home, Caribou.  She was a loved person by many and was a loving wife, mother and caring friend, who will be sadly missed. 

     Surviving in addition to her husband, Scott of New Sweden, are her two sons; Shane Landeen and Scotty Landeen, her daughter Kylee Landeen, all of New Sweden. Her mother-in-law and father-in-law Gary and Norma Landeen of New Sweden. Staci was blessed to have a large, caring family from both the Whaley, and Ladeen families, and she is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, including a special Aunt, Lola McBreairty. She was predeceased byh her parents and two brothers, Steven and Stuart.

     Friends may visit with the family at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou Friday, December 2, 2016 from 5 p.m. until time of services, which will be  held at 7 p.m. with Rev. Robert Smith, officiating. Interment will be in the New Sweden Cemetery. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
