Jacqueline “Jackie/Jack” Ann Chapman Harvey

     FORT FAIRFIELD & CARIBOU — Jacqueline “Jackie/Jack” Ann Chapman Harvey, 77, passed away December 3, 2016 at Presque Isle following a long illness.

     She was born in Caribou December 1, 1939 the daughter of the late Maurice and Flora (Myshrall) Chapman. She was a graduate of Presque Isle High School and was very proud to have earned her B.A. from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 1989. She married August Harvey August 17, 1991, and was employed as a social worker with the migrant population in the Central Aroostook area. Jackie loved to cook, garden, sing and dance, but above all she loved to joke and story tell with family and friends whom she loved dearly. 

     She is survived by her loving husband of over twenty five years, August of Fort Fairfield, lovingly remembered by her daughter, Laurie Hartley of Caribou, stepdaughter, Vickie Day and family of Fort Fairfield, stepsons, Sam Harvey and family of Limestone and Brad Harvey of Fort Fairfield, sister Carolyn Hanlon and husband Terry of Chapman,   brothers, Michael Chapman and wife Vicki of Pittsfield, and Jeffrey Chapman and wife Cecilia of New Sweden; her grandchildren, Michael Hartley and family, Erin Pontbriand and husband Spenser, Chad Hartley and family, Bronsen Hartley, Elizabeth Day, Taylor Hartley, Jared Harvey; four beautiful great-grandchildren, Alexander, Lenox, Rori, and Logan, many beloved nieces and nephews and friends, along with all of her caregivers from the Mars Hill Nursing Home, of  whom she was so very fond. Jackie was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Manilva Fenleson and Donna Doody, a brother Maurice Chapman and her beloved son Rory Hartley. 

     A service of remembrance will be held in the spring at the Evergreen Cemetery at a date and time to be announced by the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
