     LIMESTONE: Book Club at Frost Memorial Library, 1 p.m. Featured book: “Lilac Girls” by Martha Hall Kelly.

Thursday, Jan. 12

     LIMESTONE: Knitting/crocheting club, Frost Memorial Library, 6 p.m. FMI: 325-4706.

Friday, Jan. 13

     CASWELL: Chicken stew/chili dinner fundraiser at the Pleasant Ridge Riders Snowmobile Clubhouse, 17 Pleasant Ridge Rd., 4-7 p.m. Cost: $8/adults, $4/children. Bake sale items available. Proceeds benefit the groomer fund.

Saturday, Jan. 14

     CARIBOU: Caribou Historical Center and Museum honors the Caribou Grange 138 (Patrons of Husbandry) during January and February. Museum open Saturdays 12-4 p.m. All are welcome to investigate the history of the Grange, its buildings and activities.

Thursday, Jan. 19

     LIMESTONE: Knitting/crocheting club, Frost Memorial Library, 6 p.m. FMI: 325-4706.

     PRESQUE ISLE: Aroostook Birders movie night, 6:30-8 p.m., at the Department of Environmental Protection, 1235 Central Dr. The documentary “The Messenger” will be featured, along with popcorn coffee and hot cocoa.

Saturday, Jan. 21

     CARIBOU: Regular meeting of the Caribou Historical Center and Museum, 10 a.m. at the museum. Members and others interested are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
