BANGOR, Maine — Maine Public has announced that it will once again produce and broadcast “Championship Weekend,” its coverage of the AA, A, B, C and D boys and girls class state championship games across the entire state.
This year the state final games of the Maine Principals Association basketball tournament will be held on Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4. Games will be aired on Maine Public Television and on Maine Public’s CREATE Channel on cable networks across the state and free over the air. A full broadcast schedule is available on mainepublic.org.
Championship weekend includes live coverage of all the Friday and Saturday games as well as rebroadcasting the games in their entirety over the course of the weekend. In addition to the television broadcast, all games will be streamed live on mainepublic.org.
