Maine Epsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met on Feb. 18 at the home of Bonnie Cowett in Presque Isle.
Lucy Adams, Nancy Nichols and Cowett served brunch. President Sue Lougee conducted the business meeting.
Members brought items to donate to the Central Aroostook Humane Society.
Following a letter from Tyler Player, chairman of Presque Isle High School Project Graduation 2017, members voted to support them with a donation, as has been done in previous years.
Betsy Fitzherbert, who has been absent due to illness, was welcomed back.
Judy Kenny presented an interesting program about her trip to Paris, France, and Barcelona, Spain. In addition to many historical facts, she also shared her scrapbook which she recently completed.
Cowett also visited Paris and shared her video of the Eiffel Tower at night with amazing lights.
The next meeting will be Thursday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the Sargent Family Community Center. Presque Isle Recreation director Chris Beaulieu will present the program and conduct a tour of the new facility.
