Mapleton Girl Scout Troop 1133 will hold a cookie booth sale at Lowe’s in Presque Isle on Saturday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The girls will be set up in the front of the store selling all the favorite flavors, including the new S’mores. The treats are $4 per box and cash and checks are accepted.

The Mapleton, Castle Hill and Chapman annual town meeting schedule and meeting locations are as follows:
Mapleton, Monday, March 20, at 7 p.m . at the Mapleton Lions Hall.
Castle Hill, Tuesday, March 21, at 7 p.m. at the Castle Hill Grange Hall.
Chapman, Monday, March 27, at 7 p.m. at the Chapman Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club.
Pay As You Throw
The Pay As You Throw garbage program will end on March 31, 2017.
All households will need to arrange for private curbside pickup or will need to do their own hauling of their household trash to the landfill.
Information regarding the changes to PAYT will be posted on the towns’ website.
