HOULTON, Maine — Houlton High School students will perform “Not-so-Grimm Tales,” a humorous one-act play, tonight, Thursday, March 9, at 7 p.m. at the Houlton High School Auditorium.
The comedic show is around 30 minutes long and it promises to have the audience laughing out loud. The show is family-friendly and free to attend. Donations will be accepted to help with regional drama festival expenses.
Cast members are Mia Findlater, Kallie Prosser, Carolyn Hannigan, Tessa Solomon, John Thatcher, Kyliegh Tyler, Dylan Johnston and Ean Bolstridge. Crew and designers include Owen Gallop, Isaac Vega, Mia Hanning and Faith King.
Houlton High School students will also perform this play at the Regional One Act Festival, Friday, March 10, at 6 p.m. session at Stearns High School in Millinocket.
“We would love to have people come and support us there if they can,” said Pam Chernesky, adviser for the play.
Tickets for the Regional One Act Festival are $5 for high school age or younger and seniors age 65 and older or $8 for adults for each session of plays. “Not-so-Grimm Tales” is performed by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service.
