BLAINE, Maine — A Presque Isle woman was charged with possession of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia following a traffic stop in Blaine on Friday, March 10.
Maine State Police Trooper Patrick Pescitelli said in a media release that he stopped 35-year-old Adrianne Mott for an unspecified traffic violation on Route 1 in Blaine Friday.
During a roadside investigation, Pescitelli said he noticed “a quantity of drugs in the vehicle” and found what turned out to be methamphetamine, a smoking pipe and packaging.
Mott was arrested, taken to the Aroostook County Jail and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released.
Possession of methamphetamine is a class C felony charge, punishable with a $400 minimum fine, a maximum $5,000 fine and up to five years in prison.
