Little Miss and Miss Caribou Pageant coming March 25

CARIBOU, Maine — Seven girls will enter the March 25 Miss Caribou Scholarship Pageant and Little Miss Caribou Pageant on Saturday at the Performing Arts Center at 7:00 p.m..

With the Lister Knowlton VFW sponsoring and under the direction of Cheryl Bossie, proceeds from the $7.00 tickets will benefit the Jefferson Cary Cancer Center.

Three contestants will compete for the Miss Caribou title, including Kyra Brynn Thibeault, Sheridan Mae Blackstone, and D. Thibault is the daughter of Rick and Beth Thibeault and will give a vocal performance of “The Story.” Blackstone is the daughter of Dan and Sheri Blackstone and will give a vocal performance of “Safe and Sound.” Fortin, daughter of Robert and Robyn Fortin, will perform “Ave Maria” on the clarinet.

Additionally, four girls will compete for the Little Miss Caribou crown, including Kadence Quinn McDougall, Isabella Rose Robbins, Annabelle Rae Smith, and Makenzie Lynn Cole. McDougall, daughter of Shane and Vanessa McDougall will perform “My Heart Will Go On” on the piano. Robbins, daughter of Timothy and Bobbi Jo Robbins, will perform a dance to “If Only.” Smith, daughter of Zach and Elizabeth Smith, will perform a dance to “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” and Cole, daughter of Bryan and Page Cole, will perform a dance to “Can’t Stop the Beat.”

2016 Miss Caribou Hannah McDonald and 2016 Little Miss Caribou Addison Gove will provide additional entertainment.

Pageant fans can purchase tickets at the door or from contestants.
