STOCKHOLM, Maine — Regina Doucette, 93, wife of the late Wilbert Doucette, passed away Friday morning, March 17, 2017, in Caribou following a brief illness.
She was born July 28, 1923, in Stockholm, the daughter of the late Philip and Odelie (Lausier) Guerette. She was married to Wilbert Doucette on November 29, 1958, and was a lifelong communicant of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. She was a devoted, loving, and caring, mother, grandmother, and sister and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by one son, and daughter- in-law, Wilbert Jr. and Tammy Doucette of Westmanland, two daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Howie Button of Caribou, Viola and Keith Dickinson of Stockholm, three sisters, Della Daigle of Caribou, Gerry Kinney of Houlton, and Viola Secrist of Fairfax, VA, one sister-in-law, Diane Rossignol, and a daughter-in-law, Judy Guerrette, both of Caribou, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wilbert, two sons, Robert and Ervin Guerette, one grandson, Paul Guerette, and two daughters-in-law Evelyn and Ruth Guerette, four brothers, Armand, Richard, Rosaire, and Clarence Rossignol, and one sister, Millie Gormley.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 24, 2017, at 11 a.m. from the Parish of the Precious Blood St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Stockholm.
