MAPLETON — Sharon Ann Pelkey of Mapleton wife of Larry Pelkey Sr., for 50 years. She received her angel wings from God March 7th, 2017 after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer, her pain is now over. Sharon was born in the Quaintance family farm March 17th 1941 in Nebraska. Our daughter Kay and Husband Dennis gave her 24/7 care.
With tears, prayers and love my Sharon was adored by many that knew her. The master’s angels, with aid from the Doctors, guided her to heaven to the Land that Lies Hidden up there. She is in a quilters paradise, with rainbow, flowers and butterflies and lovely birds. Our three sons will greet her and much later our 4 surviving daughters.
She adored countless grandsons and granddaughters , and our many great Grandchildren, 2 special grandsons Isaiah age 9 and brother Noah age 11 and adored our Granddaughter Christine. Sharon was predeceased by her sister Joyce and survived by a sister Patricia and a brother Roger Quaintance. Sharon was once employed by North East Publishing and IRS. I appreciate our caring neighbors, also my sister Betty, my niece Heidi and my Buddy Allen Cowett.
There are no calling hours only a family celebration of life at home and at the Methodist Church. Everyone will miss you dear. See you later honey, with love and sorrow your loving husband Larry (Lawrence) Pelkey, Mapleton Maine.
