Citing daily spikes in Aroostook County COVID-19 cases, Limestone Community School Principal Ben Lothrop announced via the school’s social media page that the school would remain in the red or remote learning model until Jan. 4.

Caribou Community School has gone to remote learning as of Tuesday, Nov. 24, after a positive COVID-19 case was found within the school on Nov. 23, according to a letter from RSU 39 (Caribou and Stockholm) Superintendent Tim Doak.

The new Teague Park facility is now in the city of Caribou’s hands after the City Council accepted a quit claim deed on behalf of the school administration during a Nov. 16 meeting. The park was relocated across the street from its former Bennett Drive location as part of the $54 million Caribou Community School project.
