A Houlton man has been indicted on two counts of murder and multiple other charges in connection with the killings of an Oakfield couple and an arson spree in September in southern Aroostook.
As the local man accused of killing an Oakfield couple Sept. 23 made his first court appearance Wednesday, an affidavit provided more details but still no motive.
Two years ago, residents of Oakfield voted to forge an agreement that paved the way for First Wind to construct a 50-turbine wind farm in the community.
