Trial of Houlton man delayed

OAKFIELD, Maine — Originally scheduled to start on Jan. 25, the murder trial of a Houlton man accused of gunning down a couple in their bedroom and setting their house on fire here two years ago has been postponed.

The prosecutor said the delay was needed after Davis requested and was granted a change in defense attorneys by Aroostook County Superior Court Justice E. Allen Hunter.
