Dwight Hunter excelled in basketball as a student-athlete at Presque Isle High School, played at the UMPI, went on to coach varsity basketball at Caribou High School in the early- to mid-1960s and then became the school’s athletic director for 36 years.
Caribou High School will host the 12th annual Alumni / Community Cross Country Race at 7:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, on CHS trails.
