Sherman Seniors

On Dec. 7, 2016 the Sherman Area Senior Citizens met, opening with prayer and the Pledge to the Flag.

All shared a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and lots of pies. Everyone was stuffed and enjoyed it very much.

ISLAND FALLS, Maine — The Island Falls Historical Society’s sixth annual Christmas Cookie Sale was held Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. After the storms of earlier in the week, it seems folks were eager to be out as there was a very good turnout and sales were rapid.

Oakfield Seniors

The Oakfield Senior Citizens gathered for their only meeting in December at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Club in Oakfield.

President Bob Locke called the business meeting to order after everyone had enjoyed a potluck luncheon. It was a short business meeting as everyone was anxious to get the yankee gift exchange started with tasty, handy and funny gifts being opened and exchanged.
