8th-grade boys prevail
The Caribou Middle School boys basketball team defeated Fort Kent last Tuesday, 54-37, in a road contest.
The game was tight through three quarters, but Caribou’s second-half press wore down the Warriors as the Vikes made numerous steals and converted ensuing layups late in the contest.

This program is designed for gentlemen 30 years of age and older and meets at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center gym on Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m.

Caswell lists honor roll
CASWELL, Maine — The Dawn F. Barnes Elementary School in Caswell has announced the first-quarter honor roll for the 2016-17 school year.
Included were:
GRADE 3 — A/B honor roll: Joseph Theriault, Delaynee Labreck and Jeremiah Friedel.
