MDEA uncovers alleged meth labs in Fort Fairfield, Troy

     The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency on Tuesday found alleged methamphetamine manufacturing operations in homes in Fort Fairfield and Troy, bringing the total number of police responses to suspected labs for the year to 107.

Chancellor extends Rice’s appointment

     PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — University of Maine System Chancellor James H. Page announced Oct. 7 that he and the Board of Trustees have extended the appointment of Dr. Raymond J. Rice as interim president of the University of Maine at Presque Isle through June 30, 2018.
