      CARIBOU and PORTLAND — Richard W. Thibodeau, 71, affectionately called Pit by his friends and family, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2016, at his Park Danforth Residence in Portland.  Pit had recently relocated to Portland to live closer to his family.

Growers harvest field research

     On a recent beautiful Tuesday afternoon close to 30 agriculture professionals took to the University of Maine Cooperative Extension fields to discuss research and show how research dollars are being spent.
