The past 12 months was another exciting year for the Star City. Here are some highlights of what happened during the first half of 2016.

First of all I apologize for not getting this out earlier. I was busy with opening up a few sections of our trails in the Caribou area. Most and all clubs are reporting very good conditions with most trails have been signed.

MERRIMAC, MA — A defective license plate light landed an Aroostook man in jail Dec. 19 after state police found almost a half kilo of heroin in his backpack, according to court records.

It took less than two weeks for the Presque Isle boys basketball team to match its win total from all of last season.
The Wildcats have won three in a row and now own a 3-1 record following Friday’s 64-45 victory over John Bapst at the Cross Insurance Center. Presque Isle went 3-15 during the 2015-16 season.
