On Sunday, the Mapleton Lions Club officially kicked-off the annual Christmas season in Mapleton, Chapman and Castle Hill with the hanging of the Maine Street Christmas Lights. The Club is pleased to show the Christmas Spirit by lighting Main Street.
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The County Composite Squadron of Civil Air Patrol will hold an open house on Saturday, Dec. 10, at their Presque Isle Operations center, 955 Missile Drive, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Easton Junior/Senior High School Christmas concert will be on Thursday evening, Dec. 17, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium.

On Sunday, Nov. 27th another great event in the history of Washburn Boy Scout Troop 177 took place. Bryce Roix, the son of Tim and the late Lee Roix of Washburn, became the Troop’s 37th Eagle Scout.
