Southern Aroostook did not lose a single player from last year’s team and still fields one of the youngest high school girls basketball teams in the state, but the Warriors didn’t exactly act their age Thursday night.
Houlton/Hodgdon jumped out to a 2-0 lead early in the first period with goals by Alex Wilde and Josh Malone and added to the lead with a short-handed goal late in the second period en route to a 3-1 victory at the Forum Monday.
