Not all fathers deserve a connection with Father’s Day, but most fathers do. We are a worthy bunch.

Veterans who cleaned up test sites deserve benefits

From 1977 to 1980, hundreds of U.S. servicemembers and civilians were deployed to the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean where the military had conducted nuclear weapons tests from 1956 to 1958 as the threat of the Soviet Union came to the fore.

In with the breeze

This morning I woke up to seemingly subarctic weather. The breeze coming in my bedroom window was amazingly cold for this time of year, especially after the last few days in the high 70s and low to mid-80s.
