It is hard to believe, but Thanksgiving time has arrived once again.
Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. It combines three things I enjoy immensely — eating, watching football and spending time with the family. It really doesn’t get much better than that.

It’s beginning to look a lot like the holiday season in southern Aroostook County. The push seems to come earlier and earlier each year. As soon as Halloween passed, many stores jumped straight into the Christmas season, putting out their trees, lights, ornaments and other decorations.

The assisted living center was immaculate; boasting beautiful, short pile rugs, soft beige walls and skylights armed with sunshine. I found Mr. C’s room quickly and I was delighted to see him perched upon the side of his bed, obviously prepared for his 9 a.m. appointment with me.
