Tate receives MPA Principal’s Award

Lucy Tate of Washburn, a senior at Washburn District High School, has been selected to receive the 2023 Principal’s Award, Principal Lawrence Worcester announced. High school students learn to tap trees

A group of about 25 students from around the greater Houlton area converged Thursday, March 23, on a grove of maple trees on the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians Reservation to learn about the process of tapping trees.
