Bean Named Hospital Administrator – The Board of Trustees of Houlton Regional Hospital has announced the appointment of Bradley Craig Bean as Administrator of Houlton Regional Hospital, replacing Sister Mary Corinne who resigned from the position.

Teachers workshops – Two Acadia School 6th grade teachers, Mrs. Jean Wilbur and Roger Dechene attended a four day workshop in Caribou this week in 1973.

Doctors presented a gift to the hospital — A MacEachern obstetrical table was presented to the Presque General hospital as a gift from the hospital’s medical staff.

A very modern residence built — C. C. McKay of Perham is building one of the most modern country residences to be found anywhere. The new building, which is two stories, will have hot and cold water, bathroom, sewer connections, etc., and everything is being done on the lines of an up-to-date building, the contractor being Geo. Snowman.

Over $2,500 in radio auction goods donated — More than $2,500 in merchandise for the radio auction, sponsored by the Presque Isle Rotary club to raise funds for a new heating plant at the Presque Isle General hospital had been donated up to Wednesday afternoon, club officials said.
