Dunleavy was asked to join the Honorary Advisory Committee of Voices in Vital America, a national non-profit, non-political, education and charitable organization dedicated to making the American public aware of the plight of our POWs and MIAs and of their families.

Lions to staff Balloon Fest booth
The Mapleton Lions Club will open the Lions Den Food Booth at the Crown of Maine Balloon Fest starting at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Northern Maine Fairgrounds.

Baby Beef auction — The 4-H Baby Beef show during the Northern Maine Fair at Presque Isle was a tremendous success, with local members placing well. Brittany Lundeen’s steer Reese’s was the Grand Champion and Taylor McLaughlin’s steer Teddy was reserve champion.
