In recent years the Presque Isle Code Enforcement Office has been more active in condemning buildings as unsafe and dangerous.  There are certain criteria and guidelines that the city follows in declaring a building dangerous and unsafe.

Serve people before party

To the editor:
A year ago, I lost my job at Cary Medical Center and was forced to use food stamps just to put food on the table. I fell behind on my mortgage and car payments and had to negotiate with the bank so they wouldn’t repossess my car.
