Meet Jamie. This beautiful and loving 2-year old spayed female cat is living at the Halfway Home Pet Rescue in Caribou. She has had all her medical completed and is ready for a loving, but quiet home.

I want to tell you about a sweet black cat named Lydia. If you read our articles or follow our Facebook page, then this name may sound familiar to you. Lydia came in with her brother Luke as tiny kittens this past summer and both were in deplorable shape.
We are thrilled to announce that our 10th annual Toast to the Animals was a smashing success and an amazing fundraiser for the Central Aroostook Humane Society. We experienced a tremendous amount of community support for this event.

At the Ark there is a cat named Luther. He is a big black cat who also happens to be very feral. Luther has been with us for a few years and came in with a few other cats that we took from a feral cat colony.
