We would like to personally say how grateful we are to all those near and far for helping us with our shoe drive.
Eric (larger kitten) came from a young feral environment in Caribou and has become a loving house cat thanks to foster care by a Halfway Home Pet Rescue volunteer.
Once again, the two-legged and “four-legged” friends of the Central Aroostook Humane Society came out to support one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.
Peter (left) is an 8-month old neutered male feral cat currently living at the Halfway Home Pet Rescue Adoption Center.
Just a reminder to join us this Saturday, June 2, for our annual Paws for the Cause Walk, starting from the Central Aroostook Humane Society Shelter on Cross Street in Presque Isle.
Lynn is a young adult tortoiseshell who has been traveling Lynn Drive in Caribou for a couple of years now.
Two dogs have been quarantined for 45 days and a family member in Cary Plantation recently has had to go through the painful shot process after a run-in with a raccoon.
The warm weather has finally arrived and things are starting to turn green and bloom.
Being a non-profit, we at the Central Aroostook Humane Society rely a great deal on our fundraising efforts to help keep our doors open and the County animals well taken care of until they each find a family of their own.
