Aroostook County grand jury indicts 44 others By Jen Lynds BDN Staff HOULTON — A Houlton man charged with kidnapping in March after allegedly holding a woman captive for several hours has been indicted on a new charge of assault on an officer.

HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Police Department responded to the following incidents from Aug. 7-13.
Sunday, Aug. 7
1:56 a.m. — Off. York responded to Court Street to investigate a motor vehicle accident.
8:27 a.m. — Off. Bickford responded to Hartford Street to investigate a complaint.
6:20 p.m. — Off. York responded to South Street to investigate a complaint.
