WOODLAND, Maine — A Woodland man was charged with multiple crimes late Thursday evening after he allegedly assaulted a woman and broke her phone during the altercation.
Sheriff Darrell Crandall of the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department said in a written statement Friday evening that the office received an emergency 9-1-1 call from a woman reporting what appeared to be a domestic violence incident occurring on the Brown Road in Woodland.

HOULTON — The following cases were heard at the Aroostook County Superior Court during the month of March. Ricky A. Anderson, 35, Houlton: unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, 86 days in jail and $120 restitution.
