Police investigating bomb threat at Katahdin Elementary School
School officials, troopers and a state police explosives detection dog checked the school and found no evidence of any type of explosives or harmful devices.

Caribou police warn drivers to slow down at accident prone intersection
Since June 28 motorists have been involved in four accidents involving eight cars at the Route 1/Lyndon Street intersection in Caribou. The accidents resulted in seven vehicles being towed.
