AWS collects recyclables such as bottles, magazines, catalogs, newspapers and tin cans from 99 igloos at 17 locations in Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Easton, Limestone, Caswell, Cyr Plantation, Hamlin, Woodland, Stockholm, New Sweden, Sinclair, Portage, Mapleton and Washburn.
People of all ages, kids, dogs and even a cat meandered around the park on a sunny afternoon, as live bands played, rainbow flags waved and calls of “Happy Pride” rang out.
One flight per day will leave PQI at 5:45 a.m. and arrive at Logan about 7:10 a.m. Flights will leave Boston at 8:45 p.m., arriving in Presque Isle around 10:10 p.m., according to JetBlue.
If all goes well, downtown Presque Isle could have a new dog park and children’s playground at Peace Park within the next year.
