MPG Shopping Center moved into its new 14,000 square foot facility over the weekend and opened for business Monday. Construction at the site of the new building began in early October 2006.
Roughly 10,000 square feet of the new Parsons Street store is devoted to retail space, benefiting customers and employees, according to store manager Allen Page. “MPG is excited about being the newest GE Profile Dealer, ACE Hardware & Paint dealer and offers expanded hardware lines along with a more pleasant and comfortable shopping experience in a beautiful new facility,” said Page.
“The improvements will enhance the Shopping Center’s ability to deliver what they’ve been famous for over the years. Good old fashioned Aroostook value with product lines like Maytag, Hot Point, Benjamin Moore Paints and a newly expanded Garden Center opening soon,” he added.
Page invites the public to stop in and tour the new MPG Shopping Center.
