On June 6, WDHS held its Honors Night in the Camille “Doc” Albert Gymnasium. Following a welcome by Principal Bob Doar, dinner was served to the student honorees and their parents by the faculty.
Teachers presented academic awards to students in all subjects.
Special recognition went to Students of the Month, library aides and scholar athletes. Sara Davis was introduced as this year’s Principal’s Award recipient. Steven Pesut was named valedictorian and Sara Davis was named salutatorian for the graduating class of 2007.
The evening concluded with a National Honor Program and the induction of new members.
