Local youth turn in fine performances at Hershey

CARIBOU, Maine – The regional Hershey Track and Field meet was held Saturday, June 23 at Caribou High School. The top three finishers in all the events advanced to the state competition, which took place Monday in Brewer.
The results from that meet will be published in next week’s edition of The Star-Herald.
    The top three to place in their respective events, including their hometown and time or distance, are as follows:
Ages 9-10 girls
50-meter dash: first, Molly Anthony, Bridgewater, 7.94 seconds; second, Aspen Cote, Madawaska, 8.62; third, Lilly Hanning, Houlton, 8.71.
