L. Alice LaPointe, 64, passed away suddenly October 18, 2007 at a hospital in Riverside, CA. She was born March 8, 1944 in Washburn, ME, daughter of Millage and Marjorie (Maynard) Howe. She graduated in 1962 from Washburn High School in Washburn, ME. She has spent the last 20 years working for Solid State Devices in LaMirada, CA.
Alice is survived by her loviing husband Henry of Riverside, CA, two sons Robert Bragg of Hobe Sound, FL, and Michael Bragg of Fort Fairfield, ME, Mother Majorie Howe of Washburn, 2 sisters, Marilyn and husband Albert Van Scooter of Washburn, Shirley Smith of Caribou, 3 brothers Richard and wife JoAnn Howe of Wade, Freeman and wife Phyllis Howe of Presque Isle, Donald and wife Barbara Howe of Pilot Point, TX, also 2 special sisters-in-law Gloria Howe of Presque Isle and Charlotte Howe of Mapleton, 3 wonderful granddaughters, Katie, Makayla, and Katrina Bragg of Mapleton, and many nieces and nephews.
Alice was predeceased by her father, Millage Howe in 2002, 2 brothers, Gary and Thomas Howe in 2005, and one brother-in-law, Robert Smith in 1997.
