The Caribou United Baptist Church will be presenting nationally known gospel singer, Jonathan Martin, in concert today at 6 p.m. at the church on High Street. Admission to the concert is free. Martin, performing on a solo ministry after numerous years of music ministry traveling with his sisters, has been showcased before a vast array of audiences, a televised concert, “Celebrating America’s Musical Heritage,” part of Bill Gaither’s award-winning Homecoming Video and Concert Series to the White House. He has also performed at Carnegie Hall and at crusades with the Rev. Billy Graham.
Martin’s style of music ranges from Southern gospel to inspirational, adult contemporary and other popular Christian music formats.
The concert is open to the public and a free will offering will be collected to help with expenses.
