Given the Easter Bunny’s very rigorous schedule this coming weekend, a special early stop was made at the Caribou Public Library Saturday morning, to hide Easter eggs for toddler’s age 18- 36 months old.
Jean Shaw, children’s librarian, hosted the special program that featured, poems, songs and favorite Easter storybooks and a chance to search for Easter eggs, hidden within the children’s room in the library. Shaw was assisted during the program by Idella Thompson and Emily Staples, two members from the newly formed Teen Advisory Group (TAGS), which is under the guidance of Young Adult Librarian, Mona Martin.
The TAGS members approached Martin asking if they could help plan the egg hunt program. “I was so pleased that the group stepped forward so soon, offering to be involved with this special program,” Martin said.
Bryce Martin was successful with his search for Easter eggs at the Caribou Public Library Saturday morning.

“I found it now what do I do with it?” Abraham Bouchard seems to be waiting for the next step during the special Easter program held for Caribou Public Library’s youngest readers.
“Owen’s Marshmallow Chick”, read by Teen Advisory Group member, Idella Thompson, caught the attention of a group of 18-36 month-old toddlers during the Easter egg hunt program.
Emberly MacIntire had a little help from her friend, Barney, as she scavenged for Easter eggs at the Caribou Library.
