All-Aroostook athletes named

    The Aroostook League has developed an awards program for its member schools to honor athletes as All-Aroostook for their athletic accomplishments.
    All-Aroostook soccer players are selected by a vote of the coaches, while golf and cross country honorees are selected by criteria established by the league.
    Those selected are awarded an All-Aroostook certificate.
    All-Aroostook selections for the 2008 fall season are as follows:
Boys cross country
    Caribou: Finn Bondeson, Zac Foster, Tim Freme, Steve Melbourne, Jake Michaud, Christian Sleeper and Jesse Stephens.
    Fort Kent: Carson Spencer and Lucas Woodworth.
    Greater Houlton Christian Academy: Mackenzie Burns, Chris Morin and Micah Wiley.
    Limestone/MSSM: Noah Entwisle, Josh Forsman, Ryan Keating and Justin Lagassey.
    Presque Isle: Alex Carter, Matt Eager, Brandon Hafford, Jason Johnson and Logan Thibeau.
Girls cross country
    Caribou: Ashley Clark, Dayna Michaud, Katelyn Plourde, Hannah Saunders and Mary Jo Sheehan.
    Fort Kent: Kaitlyn Bernard and Grace Boutot.
    GHCA: Whitney Cote, Destinee Neureuther, Kasi Parker and Britta Sjoberg.
