HONORED GUEST — Silver Ridge’s Fred Goodwin, known as the “gun man” and famous for bagging the Silver Ridge buck, celebrated his 100th birthday, January 3 at the Sherman Gym with a host of friends and family from New England. The outdoor enthusiast and gun collector told friend Dave Thurston “I’m working on my second century now.” At left is niece Erin Michon of Massachusettes who celebrated with Goodwin.
