On Wednesday March 11, an informational session is planned at Region Two Vocational in Houlton to hear how WorkReady can benefit the area. WorkReady is an intensive 60-hour course designed to bring employers and potential employees together to discuss, and act upon, the self-management traits that are at the heart of an organization’s success.
This program has already been successfully piloted in four other sites in the state, and the director of Adult Education from Fort Kent will be presenting his program’s experience with the WorkReady program. For more information about the WorkReady program, call Otis Smith, Adult Education, at the Houlton Higher Education Center at 521-3100 ext.5.
