Tired of slip-sliding your way down a frozen sidewalk towards the mound of snow where your car used to be? The Caribou Recreation and Wellness center is hosting its annual Beach Blast-County Style on Saturday, March 14. Dinner — pizza with a tropical touch — will be served from 6 — 7 p.m. Last year’s event brought out over 100 people. This year’s festivities include limbo, hula-hoop contest, hot coconut toss, face painting, luau relay, hula dance contest, musical chairs, and good time for all.
Tickets, available at the Recreation and Wellness Center, are $10 for adults and $5 for children age 10 and under. Proceeds benefit the Caribou Rec. Extreme Outdoor Adventure Program for kids.
