Houlton Junior/Senior High May concerts set

The Houlton Junior and Senior High School concert bands, including the high school symphonic band will present their final concert Thursday, May 14.  There will be some special performances during this concert including a movie that will accompany the junior high band’s “space theme” and also the senior class last performance of music from “Woodstock 1969”.
    On Wednesday May 20, the vocal program will be featuring the junior high and senior high chorus students. They will also be combining on a medley of music from “Rent”.
The final concert for the school will be held on Wednesday May 27, which will be the small ensemble night.  This concert is always fun as it will feature the high school chamber choir, and the junior and senior high percussion ensemble. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. Admission is by donation.
