Baxter State Park opens Chimney Pond trail

  Baxter State Park officials have now opened all Katahdin trails in Baxter State Park with the exception of the Saddle Trail and the Northwest Basin Trail above Davis Pond.Visitors are advised to call Park Headquarters for up-to-date information before traveling to the Park – (207) 723-5140, or by visiting the Park’s website at baxterstateparkauthority.com.
