Summer reading contest

    The Veteran’s Memorial in Patten is having a summer reading contest for students in grades K-6.  Three $50 savings bonds will be awarded to the child in each age group who reads the most books. 
     Starting Monday, July 6 and each Monday from 2-3 p.m. Pam Fuller of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension will present a Summer Nutrition Camp with stories and crafts.
